Tina came to us in 2011 as our Office Manager. We quickly learned that she was not only able to run the office, but she was more than capable of handling most, if not all, of the jobs that she was tasked with accomplishing. She got her first taste of running the entire plant due to an unexpected injury to our previous GM that led to his absence for several months. Her performance during that time led to us only having one person in mind when that job came open a couple of years later.
Tommy Taylor
Plant Supervisor and Foreman
Tommy joined National Tank as a welder in 2008 and quickly showed his value to the company. Tommy was promoted to his current position of plant supervisor in 2018. You will not find a harder working or more dedicated employee than Tommy and we are grateful to have him. His leadership and work ethic is invaluable to the company. Tommy and his wife, Nikki, have been married for 23 years. He has 3 children and is awaiting the arrival of 2 grandchildren.
Ricky Poteete
Yard Supervisor
Ricky is Tina's father. She talked him out of retirement in 2020 to come help us. At the time, the pandemic had put us in a bind with labor shortages and Ricky was the perfect fit because the man can literally do almost anything needed at the shop. Whether it is welding, operating and working on equipment, or delivering tanks to customers, he helps us in so many ways that we hope he doesn't re-retire anytime soon.
